Sandal Press is a micro-press that was set up with the aim of offering you stories you’ll read and reread.

Sandal Press books are available at all reputable etailers. If you’re in North America or have an Amazon store in your country, you can try Amazon Kindle, B&N Nook and Kobo. Every single book that's released by Sandal Press has been hand-coded. We do not produce a book using one application (LibreOffice Writer, for example) and then convert from that to our destination formats. We also do not use Calibre to do our conversions.

Instead, what we do is code separate books for each of the formats we release. (Calibre is used to enter metadata for our PDFs, but that's all.) In this way, although we can't guarantee that our ebooks are completely 100% error-free, we try our darndest to make them that way.

PS This does not apply to Smashwords who, contrary to our quality philosophy, insists on Microsoft Word documents for input.
